May to September: calm mornings, water 13–17°C. October: water still 14°C, fewer people. Not recommended in strong wind or large swell — exposed rocks become dangerous. Always check the weather forecast before heading out.

3 km by bike or on foot via the Customs Officers' coastal path (GR34). By car via the D788. Paid parking in season at Ploumanac'h port. SUP launch from Saint-Guirec beach (sheltered).
