Supertubos is often compared to Hossegor-La Graviere. Both are sandy beach breaks generating powerful tubes. Supertubos is NW-exposed and works year-round (even summer with residual swells). Water is colder (13–19°C), atmosphere more authentic, prices more affordable.

Yes, in summer (June–Sept). Ferry from Peniche port (30–45 min). The Berlengas are a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve: granite cliffs, crystal-clear water, bee-eaters, razorbills. Exceptional diving and snorkelling. Nights on the island in fortress hostel (booking essential).

How do you combine Peniche and Ericeira?

Peniche and Ericeira are 50 km apart (A8/N8, 45 min). Ideal to base at Peniche or Ericeira and do day trips. The coast between them (Baleal, São Martinho do Porto) offers other spots. Nazaré is 30 km north of Peniche.
