Yes. Sables Blancs beach (2 km, NW/W exposure) picks up Atlantic swell. Waves 0.3–1.5 m. Sandy bottom. Beginner to intermediate level. Surf school on site in summer. Bénodet (20 km) and Kersiny at Douarnenez (30 km) are more exposed.

Yes. Concarneau Bay is ideal in calm conditions. Routes to Île Verte (10 min), Glenan islands (45 min by boat). Water 12–19°C. All levels in the bay. Watch for currents outside the bay.
